It is not very often I treat myself to a piece of camera equipment. I just do not like spending money on equipment. For the longest time I have wanted a Canon 85mm 1.2 ii lens. What makes the 85mm 1.2 so special is the contrast, sharpness and the bokeh it gives each image. Bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. You can see the effect in several of these images. The lens will add another level of creativity I can offer my clients. To justify purchase of the lens bought a used 85mm 1.2 ii. The images are of a test session. I am excited to see how my portraits pop this year.
